Give your students something fun to do
this summer!
Option 1: Three to six year olds: Our Sesame Street Music Works field trip is always a
hit to cure the summer doldrums. Children ages 3 through 6 are invited to come
and learn about instrument families and
try out real violins, trumpets, tubas, drums, pianos, and more! The trip begins
with a special Sesame Street DVD in which the characters show kids all about
what music is and how we make music. It ends with a special take home packet
with music resource information for parents and a musical instrument toy for
each child who attends.
For those preschools and
kindergartens who do our 32 week Music for Kids program during the school year
we allow one free field trip per year per class. For everyone else, we charge
$2.00 per child (ten child minimum) to cover the cost of the take home packets.
One session lasts about an hour.
Option 2: Toddler to elementary ages: Sign up for 8 weeks of our Music for Kids program
right at your center this summer! We will send a teacher to your facility to do
fun rhythm, expressive singing, dancing, and musical instrument activities with
your kids, all with fully orchestrated background accompaniments. We can do
toddler, preschool, kindergarten, and elementary age classes. Cost is $120.00
per month times two months (as little as $1.20 per child per lesson for a class
of 25 children). Lessons are 30 minutes per week. 8 Week Special

Why did Quest Summer Day Camp kids(ages
8-13) rate us in the top 3 favorite field trips for 2007? Because learning with
us is so much fun!
Find out which instrument is
played by the best spitters in the world! Do you know which musicians crash the
most? Who always gets to sit on a throne when he plays? Learn which instruments
sound the best when strung with catgut! What did the French call "the
instrument of love"? Can you guess what instrument was invented by
combining a clarinet and a trumpet?
Learn the answers to these
questions and more as you try out real trumpets, trombones, tubas, drums,
violins, cellos, flutes, and more! (Tell your teachers to bring their
earplugs!) One session lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Let us enthrall your
elementary and middle school age kids with the joy of music education. Let’s
face it: all that hands-on learning is more fun than any video game!
Cost: $2.00 per child with a
ten child minimum. All students take home a packet with music resource
information for parents and a musical instrument prize for each child who
attends.
